Lille Metropole is strengthening its involvement in European innovation projects.

Since 2021, Lille Metropole (MEL) has actively supported urban agriculture, notably through the “Quartiers Fertiles” programme.

Through its participation in the CIRCULANDIA project, funded under the Horizon Europe programme, Lille Metropole positions itself at the forefront of efforts to restore soil health.

Launched in March 2023 for a four-year period, the IMPETUS project aims to improve the use of abandoned or underused urban spaces.

As one of the five metropolitan sites of excellence developed by Lille Metropole, Euralimentaire embodies the region’s ambition to accelerate innovation & economic transformation in strategic sectors.
